"I'm embarassed for astornomy," said Alan Stern, leader of NASA's New Horizon's mission to Pluto and a scientist at the Southwest Research Institute. "Less than 5 percent of the world's astronomers voted. It won't stand. It's a farce."

Grade 2 Jan. 26 PD Day

In this session, we discussed the difference between "teaching about technology" and "teaching with technology". Although, both play a part in education, we focused on the "teaching with technology" and how to infuse it within the curriculum. We focused on teaching students about sound and discussed how we could use the United Streaming website so that all teachers can make use of material gathered together.
